Established in 1985 Direct Line only offered one insurance product and that was car insurance. 20 years and 5 million customers later, Direct Line has become a household name in the general insurance market.

Aside from offering the fairly standard single and annual trip cover (under 65s only) they also cover your watches and / or sunglasses. Up to £250 of your valuables are covered in the event of theft, loss or damage, excluding clothing. They can also cover your children for independant travel such as school trips.
