What types of travel insurance are there?

Most travel insurance policies should cover you in the event of your accommodation, car hire or flight cancellation, home transport (in case of an emergency), personal possession theft or loss and medical emergencies. However be sure to check their terms and conditions before making your decision.

It is important to note that every travel insurance policy is different and you may find that you need to tweak the policy in order to suit your individual needs.
